A creative force to be reckoned with (and a goodhearted girl especially susceptible to inspiration), Amy won her first award at age 5 for a fingerpainting entitled "Rainbow with Some Flowers on It." The discovery of a distinct eye for pleasing visuals filled her formative years with endless art supplies and doodles, until further studies began and provided Amy with opportunity to focus and refine her talent, in preparation to launch her dream career as a freelance artist.

 

At 19, while still in college, Amy was offered a full-time position as an illustrator, and chose to discontinue her tenure studying the craft for a chance to actually do it. After working in the corporate world for several years, Amy realized her dream and founded Amy Adams Studios, a full service design and illustration studio.

 

With no apparent boundaries to what she is capable of conceptualizing, Amy has effortlessly taken the reins on myriad creative projects through all stages of production. From layouts to package development, her understanding of identity, design, and theme has been a key component in providing the tools to ensure success for a variety of ventures, products and applications.

 

Deftly balancing aesthetical aptitude with artistic vision, Amy works on all platforms for both print and web, using traditional methods as well as achieving ninja-level expertise in Adobe software. Her work has been seen on toys, websites, packaging, billboards, magazines, TV, and books. It's also been created for some of the world's biggest brands.

 

Ever bound to the creative drive within, Amy otherwise enthusiastically enjoys drawing, writing books, sewing clothes, baking treats, singing, dancing, exploring, thinking, planning, laughing, and generally making a fun ruckus of things. She remains a great fan of passion, honesty, and courage.
